CAMPAIGN OFFICIALLY KICKS OFF!
Jeanne and the team were thrilled with the turnout at the official campaign kick-off June 20 at Woodland Park Zoo. More than 100 people attended and the campaign exceeded its fundraising goal.
Most importantly, it was fun! Attendees visited the penguins, met a roving peacock and got to spend some quality time with Freckles, the adorable bearded dragon.
Speakers included State Lands Commissioner Hilary Franz, Former King County Councilmember Larry Phillips, Woodland Park Zoo CEO Alejandro Grajal, and community leader Nate Miles.
